If you liked Tunnel Goonies, you’ll love Pine Shallows!

After creating Tunnel Goonies as a simple Tunnel Goons hack for the the Pleasure-not-Business Card RPG Jam, I couldn’t shake the idea of a game inspired by movies like the Goonies.

So, the last year I’ve been working on Pine Shallows. It’s crowdfunding now, right here on itch. A demo is available, and if you buy it now you get the complete first version, and in the future access to all improvements with more art & editing.

Welcome to Pine Shallows, a small coastal town. Sunny and cheery in summer, when the tourists come in droves, it turns dreary and empty when autumn comes. Weird things keep happening and because most adults are oblivious or too busy to deal with the problems, it’s up to you kids to solve the mess.

Pine Shallows is a tabletop roleplaying game in which the players play kids solving mysteries and going on adventures. It is inspired by the Goonies, Stranger Things, Gravity Falls and middle grade adventure book series like The Legends of Eerie-on-Sea and A Series of Unfortunate Events.
